It uses CD3 roof shading, street alignment, demographic building coloring, automatic layer assignments, etc. Results 1 to 1 of 1.

The tower on the hill is a symbol that's part of the City Designer 3 package. Concetron is the capital and the palace is very old and located on a cliff. Keep in mind that I am a very sloppy mapper and I am sure I am doing a lot of things wrong or less efficient. I added some effects and I got this result.

CD3 indeed has symbols for docks, but I didn't use them in above maps.

Yeah, there seems to be one of those "is it two faces or a vase" optical illusions going on. I'll post some hints on that too. And what's left to tutorial with my example map? Mogul - Looking at your cavern maps can you tell me how you managed to display the grid only in the caverns and not on the rest of the sheet?

Because several users have reported problems downloading huge files, we have split the symbol and fill style downloads up into 13 smaller ZIP files. Are they symbols or drawn objects? I've achieved something similar, but only with hours of really, really painful profajtasy around the intersections of streets, and I'd like to hope there's an easier way.

Many thanks for sharing that sample file! Fields All the fields were made with "All city drawing tools" and then picking "Terrain, fields". When you have a fairly good idea of how you want it cityy be start to draw some roads that will lead into the town. The street-indexer creates hypertext linking to each location.
